Aftermarket rotor blade catastrophy - Orv Neisingh - 07-15-2026 I had a client who installed Safari main rotor blades onto his Rotorway 162f. We were at hover height just beginning our takeoff when the helicopter instantly flipped up side down and we landed inverted on the top of the rotor hub before the helicopter fell onto its side.
