there are OPTI BELTS that look exactly like the belts we run, BUT, they are not aramid fiber,. I suspect that may be why this belt failed. if possible, check and see if the belt had the number 20 in a small square on the belt. If it doesn't, it's not the right belt. When they say twisted, they aren't talking about the way we are running them.
We've tried the belts your talking about, an d they didn't work very well. Stick with what has worked very well for over 30 years now. Just make sure they have the 20 in the little square. If not, don't use them.
